AOL puts your brand back at the center of its activities and changes the name of its online advertising platform: Platform-A is now called AOL Advertising. At the international command of the AOL Advertising division will be Jeff Levick, formerly at Google, as well as current CEO Tim Spain Mobile Database Armstrong. The name change will take place in all the markets in which Platform-A is present and more precisely in Spain today, September 9, 2009. Advertising.com (display, video, re-targeting, Tacoda behavioral targeting, lead management, emailing and SEM) and Adtech (adserving) come under the roof of AOL Advertising, but remain autonomous brands.
The other division AOL Media will be dedicated to bringing together the entire content business of AOL (AOL Mail, AIM, ICQ etc…), a sector in which the internet operator wants to concentrate, together with online advertising. For Jérôme Massebeuf, Managing Director for Spain, “the changes that AOL is making respond to two motivations: to simplify the Brother Cell Phone List structures of the company again and to bet more strongly on our well-known brand, AOL. At a media level, content and technology, we will continue to invest in innovative solutions and products that improve the “user experience” of the users of our portal AOL.es and that guarantee that the advertising actions of our clients are the most effective and profitable possible ”. According to Comscore, AOL Advertising reaches more than 285 million unique users globally.
